About Us
Hi! I’m Srija Gogineni, a global health researcher passionate about bridging the gap between research, policy, and practice. I hold a Master’s in Global Public Health from New York University and currently work as a Research Associate at Weill Cornell Medicine’s Center for Global Health. My work has taken me across diverse public health projects from partnering with traditional healers in Uganda to strengthen HIV care, to evaluating maternal health interventions, and designing community-based research tools.
Through these experiences, I’ve seen how the most meaningful insights often come from the voices that aren’t always heard. I started Unfiltered Public Health to create a space where voices could be amplified, and where honest conversations about public health challenges and successes can take place.
This blog is a reflection of that mission: to share stories, lessons, and reflections that move beyond data and highlight the people shaping public health every day.
